The guy I am currently dating right now is a total opposite of me. I am very personable and talkative but shut up at the right times, of course . He's more reserved, let's out a little bit of information at a time. I guess I just feel that maybe I am too aggressive or something. At any rate, in terms of your problem, I'd say that emotional intimacy is kind of tricky. When you say these guys "can't" --- do you have any real idea that they can't, or they just haven't with you. I mean, I'm definitely capable of emotional intimacy, but I definitely haven't been able to engage in it with every guy I've dated. And it takes me a long time to figure out if I can sometimes.
